How much should I spend on Google Ads?
There is no universal answer, but there is a practical floor. We recommend a minimum of $2,000 per month in ad spend. Below that, Google's machine learning does not have enough conversion data to optimise bidding effectively — and you will not generate enough volume to run meaningful A/B tests. The right budget depends on your average order value, your target CPA, and the competitiveness of your keywords. We can model this for you in a free audit.
How long does it take to see results from Google Ads?
Unlike SEO, Google Ads produces traffic from day one. However, it typically takes 30–60 days for the account to exit the learning phase and for bidding strategies to stabilise. The first 30 days are data-gathering. Days 30–90 are optimisation. By month 3–4, you should have a clear picture of your true CPL or ROAS at scale. Accounts with existing conversion history tend to accelerate faster than new accounts starting from zero.
What is a good ROAS for Google Ads?
ROAS benchmarks vary significantly by industry and margin. A business with 70% gross margins can be profitable at 3x ROAS. A business with 20% gross margins needs 7x+ just to break even. The question is not "what is good ROAS?" — it is "what is my break-even ROAS, and what ROAS do I need to hit my growth targets?" We calculate this with you before we set bidding targets. Do I own my Google Ads account?

It is powerful when managed correctly — and a budget black hole when set up incorrectly. We use PMax for most ecommerce clients where we can feed it strong first-party audience signals and clear conversion goals. For lead generation clients, we are more selective — PMax can generate volume, but quality control requires more active management than pure Search campaigns.
