PPC Management Agency in Los Angeles
Los Angeles PPC management for entertainment, media, fashion and e-commerce brands in a hugely competitive paid search market. We run Google Ads and Shopping campaigns that keep cost per acquisition in check while Los Angeles rivals bid the auctions upward.
Real Mojo Dojo clients, on the record.
Eighty-eight cities, many languages, one high-cost auction.
The county is not one market. It covers more than 4,000 square miles and 88 cities, and people search that way: Santa Monica, Pasadena, Koreatown, Long Beach, the Valley. Visibility in Downtown or on the Westside says little about what happens in the South Bay or the San Gabriel Valley. A campaign set to the whole county spends on neighborhoods you may never serve, while missing the specific searches that bring the best customers.
It is also one of the most multilingual audiences in the country. In 2020-2024, 55.1% of residents aged 5 and over spoke a language other than English at home. Spanish leads at 37.6%, followed by Chinese, Tagalog, Armenian and Korean. And the business crowd is enormous, with 1,128,124 no-payroll businesses and 304,988 employer establishments in 2023. LAEDC puts the cost of doing business about 20% above the national average, so wasted clicks hurt more here than in most places.
PPC management is how you keep that under control. It means planning, running and improving paid campaigns across Google, Microsoft, Meta and LinkedIn, and judging them on leads, sales and revenue, not clicks. For consumer brands in a visually led market it also means creative that can stand next to entertainment and fashion brands in the same feed. Our guide to SEO, PPC and SEM covers when paid beats organic, and our SEO service covers the other half.

PPC management in Los Angeles: the crowd you bid against.
Census and regional figures on the county's size, business density and income.
Where PPC budgets leak, and what we do about it.
Six common ways PPC budgets leak, two of them amplified in a county this big and this diverse.
Conversions are counted wrongly
Double-counted form fills, reloaded thank-you pages and missing call tracking make an account look better or worse than it is, and automated bidding then learns from bad data.
Measurement is fixed first
We audit every conversion action, remove duplicates, add call and form tracking, and feed real lead or revenue value back to the platform where we can.
Keywords in one language, customers in several
More than half of county residents speak another language at home. English-only keyword lists miss Spanish, Korean, Armenian, Chinese and Tagalog searches that competitors may not be bidding on at all.
In-language keywords where demand exists
We check search demand in the languages your customers use, build separate ad groups and landing pages for those that justify it, and compare their cost per lead with English campaigns.
One campaign, one budget, no control
When everything is lumped together, the products or services that earn the most are starved while weak ones absorb spend.
Budget follows margin and return
Campaigns are split by intent and value, and budget moves toward what returns most, judged against your margins rather than platform averages.
Good clicks, poor landing page
Paid traffic sent to a generic or slow page converts badly, and platforms can charge more for a weak landing page experience.
Pages built for the ad
We match page to message, cut form friction and test variants. See our conversion rate optimization service.
Ads that look ordinary in a visual market
On Meta, YouTube and TikTok your ads sit next to studio and fashion brand content. Generic stock images and tired video lose attention fast, and the platforms charge more for ads people scroll past.
Creative built to hold attention
We brief, test and rotate creative on a schedule, keep the hooks and formats that hold attention, and retire the ones that fade before they drag costs up.
Reports full of clicks
Dashboards that lead with impressions and clicks hide whether the account is making money.
Reporting on business outcomes
Reports lead with leads, sales, revenue, cost per acquisition and return on ad spend, with plain commentary on what changed and why.
Industries we help in Los Angeles.
Six sectors that compete hard for attention, and the part paid media plays in each.
Entertainment, streaming and creators
The region held 27% of US film and TV employment in 2023, while gaming, streaming and online content grow. We run YouTube, Meta and search campaigns with creative tested for thumb-stopping power, measured on subscriptions, ticket sales or leads.
Ecommerce and direct-to-consumer brands
Many local brands sell nationally from here. We run Shopping and Performance Max with clean product feeds, margin-based bidding and holiday-quarter budgets planned well before Black Friday.
Health care and practices
Health care and social assistance receipts reached about $113.5 billion in 2022. Clinics and practices get neighborhood-targeted search, call tracking and, where it fits, Spanish, Korean or Armenian ads.
Hotels, restaurants and attractions
Visitors generated $42.6 billion in business sales in 2025. We target people planning trips from elsewhere, not only those already here, and prepare budgets for Super Bowl LXI in February 2027 and LA28.
Freight, logistics and 3PL
The two neighboring ports handle roughly 40% of US containerized waterborne cargo. We run narrow B2B search and LinkedIn campaigns for customs, freight and warehousing services, filtered to buyers rather than job seekers.
Aerospace and biosciences
LAEDC names aerospace and defense a signature strength and biosciences a key cluster. Suppliers get small, precise campaigns aimed at engineers and procurement, with compliant claims where regulation applies.

How PPC advertising works.
Most PPC platforms sell ad space through an auction that runs each time someone searches or scrolls. You choose who you want to reach and what you are willing to pay for a result. The platform then decides whether your ad enters the auction and where it appears.
On Google Ads, position depends on Ad Rank, which combines your bid with the quality of your ad and landing page and the context of the search. That is why the highest bidder does not always win, and why a relevant ad on a fast page can cost less per click than a poor one. Quality Score, a 1 to 10 diagnostic shown in the account, is a useful signal of how well keyword, ad and landing page fit together.
Other platforms work on similar principles with different inputs. Meta and LinkedIn weigh your bid against how likely the audience is to engage. Managing PPC well means knowing what each auction rewards and shaping the account to match. For the biggest platform, see our Google Ads management service.

PPC and SEO work best together.
Paid search buys speed and control. You can be on page one tomorrow, target exact audiences and switch budgets on and off. Organic search builds an asset that keeps bringing traffic without a cost per click. Each channel makes the other cheaper to run.
Search term data from paid campaigns shows which keywords convert, so we know which pages are worth ranking for. Organic data shows which pages already convert, so we know where paid clicks will land well. Bfree is a good example: running Google Ads management alongside SEO, sales rose 1000% and organic traffic 192%.
If you are deciding where to start, our guide to SEO vs PPC vs SEM sets out the trade-offs, and our SEO service covers the organic side.

We review search terms, bids, budgets and creative tests, and move spend toward what returns most.

Areas we serve in Los Angeles.
We manage paid campaigns remotely for businesses across the county. Central and Westside clients include Downtown, Hollywood, West Hollywood, Silver Lake, Echo Park, Koreatown, Beverly Hills, Culver City, Santa Monica and Venice.
In the Valley and the foothills we cover Burbank, Glendale, Pasadena, Sherman Oaks, Studio City, Van Nuys and Woodland Hills. South and east, accounts reach Inglewood, El Segundo, Torrance, Long Beach, Boyle Heights, Downey, Whittier and Pomona, and to the north Santa Clarita, Lancaster and Palmdale. Each area can carry its own bids and budgets, because the cost of a lead in Santa Monica and in Palmdale is rarely the same.
Selected results.
Featured work from our wider client portfolio. It shows how we approach growth, not results for businesses in this city.
“Their team understood our business before we even had to explain it. Enquiries are up 250% and the quality is better than ever.”
Outsmart competitors instead of outspending them.
What nine years and $32 million of Google Ads taught us about outsmarting competitors instead of outspending them. One client, five ideas that transfer to any account.

What are PPC management services?
PPC management services cover the planning, setup, daily running and reporting of pay per click advertising. That includes keyword and audience research, ad copy and creative, bidding and budgets, tracking, landing page advice and regular reporting, across platforms such as Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, Meta and LinkedIn.
Do you work with Los Angeles businesses?
Yes, and all of it happens remotely. We plan and review campaigns with California clients over video calls, and shared reporting shows spend, leads and revenue at any time, so you always know where the budget went.
How is PPC different from SEO?
PPC buys visibility. You pay per click or action, results start quickly and you control who sees the ad. SEO earns visibility over months and has no cost per click, but takes longer to build. Most businesses do best running both, each informing the other. Our guide to SEO vs PPC vs SEM goes through the trade-offs.
Which PPC platforms should I advertise on?
It depends on where your buyers are and what a customer is worth. Search ads suit people who already know what they want. Shopping suits online stores. LinkedIn suits B2B lead generation. Meta and TikTok suit demand creation and visual products. We recommend a mix after understanding your margins, not a fixed package.
How long does it take to see results from PPC?
Traffic starts as soon as campaigns are approved, but useful conclusions take longer. Platforms need data to learn, so expect the first weeks to be about collecting it and removing waste, with efficiency improving as tests conclude. Linen House cut marketing cost by 40% while paid revenue grew 109%, which is the pattern good management aims for.
Can a small business compete on paid search in such a big market?
Yes, by staying narrow. We target the neighborhoods and cities you actually serve, focus on high-intent searches, and test in-language campaigns where competition is thinner. A focused account can beat a bigger one that is spread across the whole county.
How do I know if my PPC campaigns are working?
Judge them on business results: leads, sales, revenue, cost per acquisition and return on ad spend, not clicks or impressions. That only works if conversion tracking is accurate, so we check tracking first. Where possible we tie ad data to real sales or lead quality, not just form fills.
Should I manage PPC in-house or hire an agency?
In-house works when you have someone with the time and platform experience to keep accounts current. An agency suits teams that need experts across several platforms, fresh testing ideas and reporting that ties spend to revenue. Many businesses start with an agency and bring parts of the work in-house later.
Do you provide PPC audits?
Yes. An audit reviews your account structure, tracking, keywords and search terms, ads, budgets and landing pages, then ranks the fixes by likely impact. See our Google Ads audit, or use the form below to ask for a review.
Should we plan campaigns for the Super Bowl and LA28 now?
If you are in hospitality, events or retail, start planning early. Super Bowl LXI is set for February 14, 2027 at SoFi Stadium, and the Olympic Games run July 14-30, 2028. We build budgets and campaigns ahead so they are tested before demand arrives.
What is remarketing and why does it matter?
Remarketing shows ads to people who have already visited your site or engaged with your brand. Most visitors do not convert on the first visit, so remarketing keeps you in front of warmer audiences, usually at a lower cost per conversion than cold traffic. Linen House used remarketing as part of the campaign that grew paid revenue 109%. See our remarketing service.
What should I look for in a PPC agency?
Ask who owns the ad accounts, how conversions are measured, what the reports lead with, and how spend is split by margin. Look for published results in your kind of business, not just headline figures. Be wary of agencies that report clicks and impressions but cannot show revenue or cost per lead.
