Link Building Services in Perth
Perth link building that earns links from publications and industry sites with real readership. Perth's mining, resources and services economy runs on local trust, and authority signals from credible Western Australian and national sources are what convince Google you belong at the top.
Real Mojo Dojo clients, on the record.
Authority for a resources economy on its own clock.
Western Australia sold $220 billion worth of resources in 2024-25, and the capital is where much of the engineering, legal, consulting and equipment work behind that figure is bought and sold. Those are small, technical B2B markets. A mining services firm might care about a short list of search terms with modest volume, and the buyers who type them check credentials before they ever call. Links from industry associations, technical publications and project partners carry far more weight there than a pile of general directory listings.
Isolation shapes the rest of the market. Many eastern-states advertisers do not target the west closely, which leaves gaps for businesses that do, and the city is spread along a long coastal strip from Alkimos to Mandurah. Someone searching in Ellenbrook or Baldivis sees different results from someone in the CBD, so we build links for the suburb and corridor pages that serve those buyers, from community news, local sporting clubs and council-area resources.
Growth is adding pressure. The greater area gained 58,100 people in 2024-25, the fastest rate of any Australian capital, and the state recorded a net increase of 10,877 trading businesses. New competitors arrive every month, and the ones with earned authority hold their ground.
Our link building is part of our wider SEO services. We choose the pages that should rank, study the backlink profiles beating them, and earn placements from real editors through outreach, digital PR and content that deserves a citation. There is no price list of links.

Published state and metro figures that explain where authority matters. Sources sit under each number.
How we earn links.
Six methods, mixed to suit each client. An Osborne Park equipment supplier and a Fremantle bar need very different links.
Digital PR
Data-led stories, expert commentary and campaigns pitched to journalists and editors, earning coverage and links from publications your customers read.
Editorial outreach
Personalised outreach to site owners and editors whose readers would genuinely benefit from your page, with a clear reason to link.
Linkable assets
Research, tools, guides and original data that other sites cite because there is nothing better to point to.
Unlinked mentions and broken links
We find sites that already mention your brand without linking, and dead links that your content can replace, then ask for the link.
Partnerships and industry bodies
Suppliers, associations, sponsors and events that publish member or partner pages, earned through real relationships.
Guest contributions with editorial standards
Expert articles on relevant publications where the link is earned by the quality of the piece, not by a payment.

What makes a link worth building.
Not all links help. We check every prospect against the same standards before we pitch it:
- Relevance. The site and the linking page cover a topic close to yours.
- Real audience. The site has genuine readers and visible organic traffic, not just a metric score.
- Editorial placement. The link sits inside useful content and was placed because an editor chose to.
- Indexed and crawlable. The page is in Google's index and the link is a standard link Google can follow.
- Clean neighbourhood. The site does not sell links openly or link out to spam.
- Natural anchor text. Descriptive and varied, never packed with keywords.
Third-party authority scores can help us sort prospects, but we treat them as a filter, not a target. A relevant link on a site your customers read beats a high score on a site nobody visits.
Industries we help in Perth.
The sectors that anchor the Western Australian economy, and how earned links support each of them.
Mining, resources and energy
Equipment suppliers and mining services firms sell to a short list of large buyers. We earn coverage in resources trade media, technical journals and supplier directories that procurement teams actually read.
Engineering and professional services
Professional, scientific and technical services are the largest employer in the city. Case write-ups, expert commentary and association content build the credibility these firms compete on.
Defence, shipbuilding and marine
The Henderson precinct will support AUKUS submarine maintenance. Contractors positioning for that work need compliance-aware links from defence industry bodies and marine trade titles.
Construction and home services
Construction drove the state’s growth in 2024-25. Builders and trades in Alkimos, Byford or Baldivis win work with links that point at corridor pages, not just the homepage.
Tourism and hospitality
Visitors spent a record $19.2 billion in WA in 2025. Venues and stays earn links from travel writers and event guides, timed ahead of FRINGE WORLD and Perth Festival in late summer.

We build a vetted list of relevant sites and editors, checked against our quality standards.
Outreach and placement
Personalised outreach, follow-up and negotiation until links are live and verified.
Reporting and refinement
Monthly reporting on links earned, rankings and organic traffic. We double down on the tactics that move the pages that matter.
Links we will not build.
Google's spam policies define link spam as creating links to or from a site primarily to manipulate search rankings. Its examples include buying or selling links for ranking purposes, excessive link exchanges, links made by automated programs, and large-scale guest posting with optimised anchor text. Those tactics can cost a site its rankings, and the damage is slow and expensive to reverse.
We do not use private blog networks, automated link tools, paid links that pass ranking credit, or link exchange schemes. Where a placement involves payment or sponsorship, it is marked with the appropriate rel attribute. If a site already carries links like these, we will tell you plainly and recommend how to deal with them.
This is the trade we make in your favour: fewer links, each one earned and defensible.
Areas we serve in Perth.
We work with businesses across the metro remotely, through video calls and shared reporting. Closest to the city that includes the CBD, Northbridge, West Perth, Subiaco, Leederville and Osborne Park, and on the coast Scarborough, Cottesloe and Fremantle.
South and east of the river we support firms in Victoria Park, Cannington, Gosnells, Armadale and Byford, as well as Midland and Ellenbrook in the hills-side growth areas. In the northern corridor we work with Joondalup, Duncraig, Wanneroo, Madeley, Darch, Malaga and Alkimos businesses, and further south with Rockingham, Baldivis and Mandurah.
“Their team understood our business before we even had to explain it. Enquiries are up 250% and the quality is better than ever.”

What is link building?
Link building is the process of earning links from other websites to your own. Search engines treat relevant links from trusted sites as a signal that a page is worth ranking, so a structured link building programme supports rankings for the pages you care about.
Why do backlinks matter for SEO?
Links help search engines find your pages and judge how trusted they are. Content and technical health get a page into contention, and links from relevant, trusted sites often decide who wins a competitive result. Link building works best alongside your SEO services, not instead of it.
How long does link building take to work?
Expect months rather than weeks. Links have to be earned, published, crawled and then weighed by search engines, and the pages they point to have to be strong enough to benefit. We report links earned each month so you can see progress before rankings move.
Is it safe to buy backlinks?
Google's spam policies list buying or selling links for ranking purposes as link spam. Links that involve payment should carry a rel sponsored or nofollow attribute, which means they do not pass ranking credit. We earn links through outreach, digital PR and content, and do not buy links to pass ranking credit.
What is a good backlink?
A good backlink comes from a relevant site with a real audience, is placed inside useful editorial content by a real editor, sits on a page Google has indexed, and uses natural anchor text. One link like that is worth more than dozens from irrelevant directories or networks.
How many backlinks do I need?
There is no fixed number. The right target comes from the sites currently ranking for your keywords: how many relevant sites link to them, and which of those are missing from your profile. We build that comparison in the first phase and set targets from it.
What is the difference between link building and digital PR?
Digital PR is one way of building links. It earns coverage and links from journalists and publications through stories, data and commentary. Link building is the wider discipline and also includes editorial outreach, linkable assets, unlinked mention recovery, partnerships and resource page placements.
Do links still matter for AI search?
Links still shape traditional rankings, and reputable third-party coverage is also the kind of source AI answer engines tend to draw on. We cannot guarantee that any AI tool will cite you. Our AI SEO work looks at how your brand appears in those answers, and link building supports it by strengthening the sites and pages that mention you.
Do you guarantee rankings or a number of links?
No. Nobody controls how search engines rank pages, and a guaranteed number of links usually means links are being bought or manufactured. We commit to the process, the quality standards and the reporting, and we show the effect on rankings, traffic and enquiries.
How do you choose which pages to build links to?
We prioritise the pages closest to revenue or leads, such as service pages, product categories and high-intent content, and we look at where a modest amount of extra authority is enough to move a page onto page one. A few links go to the homepage and to linkable assets to keep the profile natural.
What if my site already has bad or paid links?
We start by auditing your existing profile and check for paid schemes, networks and irrelevant links. Most low-quality links can simply be ignored by Google. If there are signs of a paid link scheme or a penalty risk, we will recommend removal or disavow, and can pair the review with a full SEO audit.
How will I know it is working?
Each month you receive a report showing the links earned, the sites and pages they came from, where they point, and the movement in rankings, organic traffic and enquiries for the target pages. We tie the results to business outcomes rather than to a count of links.
Do you work with Perth businesses?
Yes. Everything is run remotely, through video calls scheduled in Western Australian hours and a shared report that shows each link, the page it supports and the ranking movement behind it. You will not be asked to travel, and nothing in the work requires a meeting room.
Can link building help a B2B firm in mining services or engineering?
Yes, and it is often where links pay off fastest. Those search terms are low volume but high value, and the sites that rank for them tend to have links from associations, trade media and project partners. We target the same kind of sources, with content engineers and procurement teams find genuinely useful.
Do I need separate links for the northern and southern suburbs?
Often, yes. The metro stretches a long way along the coast, and people search by suburb or corridor. We earn links for the pages that serve Joondalup, the hills or Rockingham separately, so each one has its own reason to rank.
Campaign results from our portfolio.
Published work where earned links were part of the strategy, across a range of industries and markets. Shared as examples of our method, not a promise of matching numbers.
